If you activate Call Whisper (also known as Call Screening) on your 0845 number, a recording will play to you whenever you answer a call that has come from it. You have an option either to accept the call or hang up to reject it. While the message is being played to you, the caller only hears ringing.

If you are a big company and have mapped a 0845 numbers to receive calls from your know and important clients only then with the help of this service (call screening) you can reject the calls from any unknown or withheld number.
This will also allow you to distinguish between business callers and personal callers that have called your destination number directly.

There is another such service available with your 0844 number, called intelligent call diversion. This feature allows you to specify a secondary destination number to take your calls if you are busy, do not answer the call, or if the caller’s telephone number is withheld.
